Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
The County Court providently exercised its discretion in denying the defendant's request for youthful offender status, given that, inter alia, the defendant, who had a prior criminal record, displayed what appeared to be a handgun during this premeditated robbery ( see CPL 720.10, 720.20; People v Moralez, 267 AD2d 334; People v Johnson, 220 AD2d 775, 776; People v Vera, 206 AD2d 494).
