1. The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the

Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing

the respondents to issue a new arms licence as well as to permit transfer of the

arms licence in favour of the petitioner under the family heirloom policy.

2. At the outset, Mr. Udit Garg, learned Additional Advocate General,

Haryana submitted on instructions that during the pendency of the present

petition, a detailed order has been passed.

3. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a

liberty to the petitioner that if he is still aggrieved, he may challenge the same

by filing an appropriate petition in accordance with law.
