The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 1.3.2024 passed by this Court in Writ C No.6650 of 2024.

Previously also a Contempt Application No.6506 of 2024 was filed whereby this Court vide its order dated 16.10.2024 rejected the application on the ground that the pleadings in the affidavit do not reveal any willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court. A fresh application has been again filed pleading disobedience of the order passed by this Court.

A perusal of the order sheet of the case shows that the case could not be heard by the Deputy District Magistrate on most of the dates fixed in the case as the counsel for the parties did not appear because members of the Bars were on strike.

A reference is made to the order sheet of the case from 3.10.2024 to 30.12.2024.

In view of the aforesaid, there is no willful disobedience of any order passed by this Court so as to occasion registration of proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

The contempt application is dismissed.
