1. The petitioners have filed the present petition under Section

482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer to quash the FIR No. 121 dated 01.10.2018

registered under Sections 420, 406 and 120-B IPC, Police Station City

Jalalabad, District Fazilka and all subsequent proceedings arising

therefrom.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant

submits that in the present case, a cancellation report has already been

presented on 24.09.2024 before the Court of SDJM, Jalalabad. Still further,

the complainant was granted an opportunity to file the protest petition on

08.10.2024.

3. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the

complainant, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and is

disposed off as such.

4. Needless to observe that the parties shall be at liberty to avail

their alternative remedies, if any, in accordance with law.
