The petitioner raises a question as to whether the Additional District Judge (Redesignated Court) at Paschim Medinipore was within its jurisdiction in allowing a prayer for substantive review of an award under Section 168 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, in view of no such power being vested in the said court.

This revisional application is required to be heard on such question.

Accordingly, the petitioner will serve copies of C.O. No.1874 of 2018 on the opposite parties indicating that the matter will appear as a Listed Motion on July 25, 2018, when the petitioner will file an affidavit of 2service.

There will be a limited order of stay of all further proceedings in Money Execution Case No.4 of 2017, arising out of M.A.C.C. No.389 of 2012 (Judicial Misc. Case No.14 of 2015) pending before the Additional District Judge (Redesignated Court) at Paschim Medinipore, till August 15, 2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
