Tex. Pen. Code § 12.23 : PENAL CODE — PUNISHMENTS — PUNISHMENTS — ORDINARY MISDEMEANOR PUNISHMENTS — Class C Misdemeanor

An individual adjudged guilty of a Class C misdemeanor shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.
