110 ILCS 690/35-10 : Education — Higher Education — Public Universities — Western Illinois University Law —Article 35 —10

There is hereby created a body politic and corporate which shall be styled the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University (hereinafter called the Board), and which shall operate, manage, control, and maintain Western Illinois University in accordance with the rights, powers and duties now or hereafter vested by law in that Board.
