THE TRIPURA REPEALING AND SA

ACT

to repeal certain enactments which are obsolete .and have ceased to be re e a WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal certain enactments which are e· er obsolete or have ceased to be relevant for the State of Tripura;

BE it enacted by the Tripura Legislative Assembly in the Seventy- 0 Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title, and commencement.-(1) This Act may be caUeo e "ripura Repealing and Saving Act, 2022";

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. Repeal of certain enactments.- The enactments specified in the Sc~edule to this Act are hereby repealed.

3. Saving.-(1) The repeal by this Act of any enactment shall not a ec any other enactment in which the repealed enactment has been applied, incorporated or referred to; and this f Act shall not affect the validity, invalidity, effect or consequences of anything already done .or suffered, or any right, title, obligation or liabil a ready acquired, accrued or incurred, or any remedy or proceeding in respect thereof, 0 a y ~eease or discharge of or from any debt, penalty, obligation, liability. claim 0 e a d. or any
