No. 315-L.-3lst March, 2022.-The following Act of the West Bengal Legislature, having been assented to by the Governor, is hereby published for general information:-
West Bengal Act II of 2022 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (No. 2) ACT, 2022.
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 31st March, 2022.]
AnAct to authorisepayment and appropriation ofcertain sumsfrom and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day ofMarch, 2023.
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund ofWest Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2023; It is hereby enacted in the Seventy-third Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
Short title.
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 2022.

Issue of Rs.
323568,01,04,000 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, there may be out of the
paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule Consolidated .
Fund of amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees three lakh twenty-three thousand West Bengal for
five hundred sixty-eight crore one lakh and four thousand towards defraying the the year
2022-2023. several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2023, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
Appropriation.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund ofWest Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2023.
