THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (VOTE ON

ACCOUNT) (No. 2) ACT, 1977. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 29th June, 1977.] [29th June, 1977.]

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of a part of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1978.

WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of apart of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1978 ;

It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-eighth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows :-

1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Short title. Account) (No. 2) Act, 1977.

2. From and out of the Consoli ated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of Rs. be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of 6,03,43,40,000 the Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums out of the Consolidated West Ben. Act specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the West Bengal Fund of West 1 of 1977.

Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 1977] to the sum of rupees six Bengal for the hundred and three crores forty-three lakhs and forty thousand towards year 1977-78. defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1978, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule.

3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropriation. Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1978.
