THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (EXCESS
EXPENDITURE, 1963.64, 1964-65, 1965-66, 1966-67 AND 1967-68) ACT, 1975.

An Act to regularise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1964, the year ending on the thitty-first day of March, 1965, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1966, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1968.
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Excess Short title. Expenditure, 1963-64, 1964-65, 1965-66, 1966-67 and 1967-68) Act, 1975.
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal,— Issue of
(1) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule I
amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees five crores, nRss.154.45138A7544 forty-one lakhs, eighty thousand, seven hundred and fifty-four, Rs.4A0,89,160,
(2) Rs,2,60,43,983 sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule II and amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees fourteen crores, Rs.1.63,05,281 fifty-three laths, sixty-three thousand, four hundred and seventy- cot so four, nsolid ated
(3) Fund of West sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule III Bengal amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees four crores, respectively forty lakhs, eighty-nine thousand, one hundred and six[ y, forme
(4) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule IV services and purposes of amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees two crores, the year sixty lakhs, forty-three thousand, seven hundred and eighty- 1963-64, the three, and year 1964-65,
(5) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule V they ear 1965-66, the amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees one crore, sixty- year 1966-67 three lakhs, five thousand, two hundred and eighty-one, and the year 1967-68.

are authorised for payment and application towards defraying the several charges which were incurred during—
(i) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1964,
(ii) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1965,
(iii) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1966,
(iv) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967, and
(v) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1968, respectively, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of each such Schedule and which were in excess of the amounts granted for the services and purposes of the respective year. The sums authorised for payment and application from and out tion. of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be deemed to have been respectively appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in Schedules I, II, III, IV and V in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1964, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1965, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1966, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1968.
