AN ACT TO PROHIBIT UNAUTHORISED COLLECTION
IN THE STATE OF ORISSA FOR THE NATIONAL
DEFENCE FUND
BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa
in the Fourteenth Year of the Republic of India, as folIows :-
1. ( I ) This Act may be called the National short title, Defence Fund (Orissa Collection) Act, 1963. Cxtent c~mmmce
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Orissa. mcntn
(3) It shall come into force at once.
2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-
(a) "collection" means only collection within Dthitions
the State of Orissa of any money or vaIuabIe thing ;
(b) "Fund" means the National Defence ~ u n d created by the Central Government for purposes relating to the defence of India and any of the branches of the said Fund in operation within the State of
Orissa including the National Defence Fund (Orissa Branch) created by the State Government.
3. No collection for the Fund shall be made Prohibition by any person except under the authority of and in ofcotlccrion by unauthe

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done, any action taken, any rules made or any orders issued
in exercise of any power conferred by or under the
said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done, taken, made or issued in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by or under this Act as if this Act was in force on the day on which such thing was do=, action was taken, mles were made or order was issued.
