AN ACT TO VALIDATE CERTAIN ACTIONS TAKEN BY
Tm REVJZNW COURTS UNDER TH6 DEFERENT
TENANCY LAWS AND TO PROVDE FOR
CERTAIN ANCIUAItY MATTERS
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Orissa in the Twenty-seventh Year of the Republic of
India, as follows :-
1. ( 1 ) This Act may be called the Orissa Rent- short w4 Suits (Validation) Act, 1976. extent and

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Orissa. ""'-
(3) It shall come into force at once.

(&'all such suits which are pending on the date of commencement of this Act, shall be proceeded with and disposed of by the
Revenue Courts in accordance with the
