THE HIMACHAL PRADESH REPEALING ACT, 2017

(Received the assent of the Governor on the 21stSeptember, 2017 and was published both in Hindi and English in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh on the 27thSeptember, 2017, pp. 6312-6315).
AnActto repeal certain enactments.
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Sixty-eighth Year ofthe Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Repealing Act, 2017.
2. Repeal of certain enactments.-The enactments specified in the SCHEDULE arehereby repealed to the extent mentioned in the fourth column thereof.
3. Savings.-The repeal by this Act of any enactment shall not,-
(a) affect, any other enactment in which the repealed enactment has been applied,incorporated or referred to; or
(b) affect the validity, invalidity, effect or consequences of anything already done orsuffered, or any right, title, obligation or liability already acquired or incurred, orany remedy or proceeding in respect thereof, or any release or discharge of orfrom any debt, penalty, obligation, liability, claim or demand, or indemnityalready granted, or the proof of any past act or thing; or
(c) affect any principle or rule of law, or established jurisdiction, form or course ofpleading, practice or procedure, or existing privilege, restriction, exemption,office or appointment,

notwithstanding that the same respectively may have beenin any manner affirmed or recognized or derived by, in or from any enactmenthereby repealed; or
(d) affect the audit, examination, accounting, investigation, inquiry or any otheraction taken or to be taken in relation thereto by any authority and such audit,examination, accounting, investigation, inquiry or action could be taken, and, orcontinued as if the said enactments are not repealed by this Act.
