Punjab Laws (Amendment) Act, 1878 [Repealed]

An Act for the further amendment of the Punjab Laws Act, 1872

For the purpose of further amending the Punjab Laws Act, 1872 (4 of 1872); It is hereby enacted as follows:

Section 1.

1. [Repealed by Act 1 of 1938.]

Section 2.

2. [Repealed by the Punjab Act 2 of 1905.]

Section 3.

3. [Repealed by Punjab Act 2 of 1903.]

Section 4.

4. [Repealed by Punjab Act 2 of 1903.]

Section 5.

5. [Repealed by Act 1 of 1938.]

Section 6.

6. [Repealed by Act 12 of 1891.]

Section 7. Penalty for breach of rules under Act 4 of 1872

Whoever breaks any rule made by the State Government under the 2same Act shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to fifty rupees, or with both. 3 [* * *]

Section 8. Recovery of advances made by Government

[Repealed by the Amending Act, 1903 (1 of 1903), Section 4 and Schedule III.]

1. Short title given by the Amending Act, 1903 (1 of 1903).

2. That is the Punjab Laws Act, 1872 (4 of 1872).

3. The second sentence of Section 7 was repealed by Act 12 of 1891, Section 2 and Schedule I.
