An Act further to amend the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992.

PREAMBLE

Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:

Section 1. Short title

This Act may be called the Central Agricultural University (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Section 2. Amendment of section 2

In the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (40 of 1992) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 2, in clause (l), after the word Mizoram, , the word Nagaland, shall be inserted.

Section 3. Amendment of section 6

In section 6 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), after the word Mizoram, , the word Nagaland, shall be inserted.
