further to amend the Assam Requisition and Control of Vehicles Act, J950
Prea~nble.-WHEREAS it is expeditmt further to amend the Assam Requisi tion and Control of Vehicles Act, 19Stl (Assam Act XXXII of 19!10), hereinafter called the principal Act, for the purpose hereinafter appearing;
It is is hereby enacted as follows:-
1. Short tide, extent and coJDJDenceJDent.-(1) This Act may be called the Assam Requisition and Control of Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 1953. ·
(2) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act. (3) It shall come into force at once.
2. Arneud~nent of Sectioal(3) of the AssaJD Act XXXU of 1950. In sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the principal Act, for the figures "1953" the figures "1954" shall be substituted.
