THE ASSAM LOCAL RATES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1947

An Act further to amend the Assam Local Rates Regulation, 1879
WHEREAS it is expedient fl1rther to amend the Assam Local Rates Regulation, 1879, hereinafter called the said Regulation, in the manner hereinafter appearing ;
It is hereby enacted as follows:-- Short title. l. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Local Rates

Extent .
(Amendment) Act, 1947.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincia\ Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
( 3) It shall have the like extent as the said Regula- tion.
