CHHATTISGARH PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES (ESTABLISHMENT AND
OPERATION) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2010
An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005 (No. 13 of 2005).
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-first year of the Republic of India, as follows :-
1. (l) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment Short title, extent and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 2010. and commcnce-
mcn(.
(2) It extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh.
(3) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. After sub-section (I) of Section 9 of the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establish-
Amendment of ment and Opcratior \ Act, 2005 (No. 13 of 2005), the following proviso shall be inserted, Section 9. namely:- ·
"Provided that after the establishment of the University any new teaching programme may be introduced with the prior approval of the State Government". ·

OPERATION) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011
An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005 (No. 13 of 2005).
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty second year of the Republic of India. as follows :-
I.(I) This Act may he called thl' Chhatlisgarh Private Universities (Establishment Short title, extent
and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 201 I. and Commence- ment.
(2) It extends to the whole Stare of Chhattisgarh. , 3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. After clause (b J of sub-section (2 \ or Section 7 of the Chhattisgarh Private Universities Amendment of
( Eswhlishmen1 ,rnd Operation) Act. 2005 (No. I 3 of 2005) (hereinafter referred to as Section 7.
the Principal Act). the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :-
"Provided that non transferable lease (not less than 30 years), given for the purpose. by State Gover1,1menr or its Agency shall be admissible."
In proviso to suh-section (2) of Section 9 of the Principal Act. for the figure and word Amendment of
"6 months" the figure and word "2 years'· shall be.substituted. Section 9.

An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005 (No. 13 of2005).
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic oflndia, as follows:-
I. {I) This Act may be called the Chhattistgarh Private Universities Short title, extent (Establishment and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 2015. and commencement.
(2) It shall extend to the whole State of Chhattisgarh.
(3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In sub-section (3) of Section 7 of the C hhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment Amendment of and Operation) Act, 2005 (No. 13 of2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), Section 7. for the figure "25,000", the figure" 1,00,000" shall be substituted.
3. {I) In clause (a) ofs ub-section (I) of Section 11 of the Principal Act, for the words Amendment of
"One crore rupees", the words "Three crore rupees" shall be substituted. Section 11.
(2) In clause (b) ofs ub-section ( 1) of Section I I of the Principal Act, for the words
"Three crore rupees", the words "Five crore rupees" shall be substituted.

An Act to further amend the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005 (No. 13 of 2005). Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Seventy First Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
1. (1) This Act may be called the Short title, extent Chhattisgarh Private Universities and commencement. (Establishment and Operation)
(Amendment) Ac! 2020.
(2) It shall extend to the whole State of Chhattisgarh.
(3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
