Preamble. WHEREAS the Pubiic Gambling Act, 1867 is not Act No. 3 in force in the Mizo District ; of J 86~ .
Short title, extent and commence· ment•
AND WHEREAS it is expedient to bring the said Act into force in the said District ;
It is hereby enacted in the Thirteen th Year of the Republic of India as follows :--
1. (1) This Act may be called the Public Gamb ling (Extension to Mizo District) Act, I 962.
(2) It extends to the Mizo District,
(3) It shall come into force at once.
