AN
ACT
to augment the corpus of the Contingency Fund of the State of Assam. Whereas it is expedient to augment the corpus of the Contingency Fund of the State of Assam;
It is hereby enacted in the Seventieth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Contingency Fund (Augmentation of Corpus) Act, 2019.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Assam.
(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of Aprit 2019.
2. There shall be paid by the State Government into the Contingency Fund of State of Assam a further sum of one hundred crores of rupees out of the revenues ofthe State of Assam for the financial year 2019-2020.
