to amend

Manipur

Service

Commission

(Additional Functions) ^{Act, 2014}

(Manipur ^{ActNo. 6}

2014).

Be it

enacted

by

the

Legislature

of

Manipur

in the

Sixty-sixth year of the

Republic

of India^asfollows:

1.

(1)

This^Actmay be called the

Manipur

Public Service Commission

(Additional Functions)

Amendment

Act,

2015.

(2) ^Itshall^comeintoforce^{onsuchdateasthe}State Government may, by

notification

in the

Official

Gazette,

appoint.

2. In section 2 of

the

Manipur Public

Service Commission (Additional Functions) ^Act

(hereinafter

referred^toasthe

Principal Act), ²⁰¹⁴after clause

(b ), ^the

following ^newclause

(bb)

shall ^be inserted,

namely,-

"(bb)

"Government

Company"

means ^a

company ^as defined in clause

(⁴

of section 2 of the

Companies Act,2013

(Act ^18of

2013), ⁱⁿ

whichnot^lessthan

In section 3 of the

Principal Act,

for the words "local authorities" and "local

authority"

wherever

they occur, the words "local authority ^andGovernment

shall^besubstituted.
