fw'ther to amend the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994 (No. 43 of 1994).
BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Sixty-sixth year of the
Republic of India as follows: /
1. (1) This Act may becalled the Manipur Mlmicipahties (Eighth Short fine and Amendment) Act, 2015. mm
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government

Ex ) For section 47 of the Manipur Municipalities Aet;1994, the ,gmendmem
following shallbembstihned, namely,— . of Section 47,
“47, The gratuities and pensions of the employees of the Nagar Panchayat or the Council, as the case may be, shall be
paid out of the fund of theNagar Panchayat or the Council " in such manner as may be prescribed”.
