further to amend the Manipur Co-Ope rative Societies Act, 1976 (Manipur Act N0. 14 of 1976).
BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Thirty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:
1. (1) This Act may be called the Manipur Co-operative Societies (Second Amendment) Act, 1
985.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the
29th day of January, 1985.
2. After section 78 of the Manipur C o-Operative Societies Act, 1976, the following section shall be in serted, namely,—
78A. Notwithstanding anything conta ined in this Act, it' the

Provided that when the Board is suspended or dissolved, or where the term of such a Board becomes expired, the State Government may appoint as Adminis- trator to exercise and perform the powers and duties of the Board during the period of suspension or tilla new Beard is reconstituted as the 0353 may be."
3. (i) The Manipur Co-Operative Societies (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 1985 (Manipur Ordinance N0. 1 of 1995) is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shaii be deemed to haVe been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
