to augment the corpus of the Contingency Fund of the State of Assam.

Preamble

Short title, extent

and commencement.

Whereas it is expedient to augment the corpus of the Contingency Fund of the State ofAssam;

It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-fifth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Contingency Fund (Augmentation of Corpus) Act, 2014 .

(2) It extends to the whole of the State ofAssam.

(3)

It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1⁵¹

day of April,2014. Further payment to

the Contingency Fund

There shall be paid by the State Government into the Contingency Fund of State of Assam a further sum of fifty crores of rupees out of the revenues of the State of Assam for the financial year 2014-2015 .
