THE LAININGTHOU SANAMAHI TEMPLE

to amend the Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple. Act, 1976. BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Twenty-ninth Year 7 of the Republic of India as foliows :
l. (1) This Act may be called the Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple 3110? t We & commeuc€-
(Amendment) Act, 1918 ment.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from Manipur Act the date from which the Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Act, 7976 °f1976 ' came into force.
2. In this Act, 'PrincipalACt' means the Lainingthou Sanémahi Definition. Temple Act, 1976.
3. (1) In section 2 of the Principal Act after clause (h), the Agnsendmenzf following clause (11h) shall be inserted; namely : ° ""0" '
"(hh) 'Sanamahi Deity' means the idol of?anamahi Deity which is installedin the tempie within the compound of the homestead of Shri L. Surjamani Shanna at Keisamthong Moirangningthou Leirak, Imphal.".

(2) In section 2 of the Principal Act, for the ex isting clause (k)
the following shall be su bstituted, namely :
"(k) 'Temple' means the temple Where the Sanam ahi Deity
is at any time iDStal led by the Board an d includes all
, appurtenant structures together With all additio ns thereto
or all alterations ther eof which may be ma de from time
to time after the com mencement of this A ct".
