further to am end the Assam Forest Regulation, 1891.
Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the ^ceulation Assam Forest Regulation, 1891, hereinafter called the *** said Regulation, in the manner hereinafter appearing ; K ' ’
It is hereby enacted in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows s—
This Act may be called the Assam Forest commence* (Amendment) Act, 1964. meat.
(2) It shall have the like extent as the said Regulation.

Amendment 2. In section 40 of the said Regulation, in clause of section 40 (L) of sub-section (2), after the word “sawpits'’ the
