[Bihar Act 12, 2019] THE BIHAR APPROPRIATION (No.-2) ACT, 2019
AN
ACT
TO AUTHORISE PAYMENT AND APPROPRIATION OF CERTAIN AMOUNT FROM
AND OUT OF THE CONSOLIDATED FUND OF THE STATE OF BIHAR FOR THE SERVICES
DURING THE YEAR ENDING OF THE THIRTY FIRST DAY OF MARCH, 2020.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the seventieth year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title, extent and commencement .-
(1) This Act may be called the Bihar Appropriation (No.-2) Act, 2019.
(2) It shall extend to the whole of the state of Bihar.
(3) It shall come into force with effect from 1st April 2019.
2. Withdrawal of Rs. 201071,02,28,000 (Two Lakh one Thousand seventy one Crore two Lakh twenty eight Thousand) out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar for the year ending on the 31st March 2020.-From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Bihar, there may be paid and applied amount not exceeding those mentioned in column 6 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate including amount mentioned in column 6 of the Schedule of The Bihar Appropriation (vote on account) Act, 2019 (Bihar Act 4, 2019) to the sum of Rs. 201071,02,28,000 (Two Lakh one Thousand seventy one Crore two Lakh twenty eight Thousand), only towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty first day of March 2020, in respect of the services specified in column-2 of the Schedule.
3. Appropriation.— The amount authorized to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar by this Act shall be appropriated for and in respect of the services and purposes mentioned in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty first day of March,2020.
