THE ASSAM CONTINGENCY FUND (AUGMENTATION OF
CORPUS) ACT, 1973

Act
to augment temporarily the Corpus of the Contingency Fund of Assam.
Preamble. WHEREAS it is expedient to augment tempora- rily the Corpus of the Contingency Fund of Assam;
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth Year
of the Republic of India as follows :-
Short title 1. ( 1) This Act may be called the Assam Contin- and gency Fund (Augmentation of Corpus) Act, 1973.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance as repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act as if this Act had commenced on the twenty-first day of May, 1973 (date of promulgation of the Ordinance).
