6. In section 15 of the principal Act.— in sub-section (1 ) for the words "two hundred rupees" the . words "two hundred and fifty rupees" shall he substituted;
in sub-sections (2) and (3), for the Words, "one hundred and twenty- five rupees" the words, "two hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
7. In section 15-A of the principal Act, for the words "two hundred rupees" the words "one thousand rupees" shall be submituted.
8. In section 18-A of the principal Act, in clause (a) for the words, "six hundred rupees" the words "one thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
9. Section 24 of the principal Act shall be re-numbered as Sub-section (1) thereof, and,—

after sub-section (I) the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely
"(2) Where any Person entitled to pension under sub-section (1) is also entitled to any other pension such person shall be entitled to 'receive the pension under sub-section (1-) in addition to suclrpension."
In 'section 25 of the principal Act. clauses (a) and (c) shall be omitted. In section 26 of the principal Act, for the words "clause (a) or clause (b) or clause (c)", the words "clause (b)" shall be substituted. PART Ill
Amendment of the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature • (Officers Salaries and Allowances) Act, 1952
In section 2 of the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (Officers Salaries and AllOwances) Act, 1952, herein after referred to in this part as the principal Ad, in sub- section (1) for the words "rupees one thousand" the words "two thousand and five hundred rupees" shall be substituted. .
In.section 4 of the Principal Ad,—
in sub-section (1), the words "and also at such other place in Uttar Pradesh and for such period as may be prescribed by rules to be made by the State Government in this behalf' shall be omitted;
after sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be inserted, and be deemed to have been inserted on March 27, 1997 namely,— •
"(3) The Speaker and the Chairman shall each be entitled to receive two thousand and live hundred rupees per month 'bribe maintenance of Iris private residence at his home district with effect from the date of his election as such Speaker or the Chairman, aSthe case may he:

14. In section 3.of the Uttar Pradesh Ministers (Salaries. Allowances inn
