Pream ble. Whereas it is expedient to amend the Assam Deputy A sam Act Speaker’s Salaries and Allowances Act, 1958, herein- ° after called the principal Act, in the manor hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted in the Twentieth Year of the Republic of India as follows: —
Short title 1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Deputy and com- Speaker’s Salaries and Allowances (Amendment) Act,

April, 1969.
Amendment 2. In section 2 of the principal Act, the words of sectton 2 “rupees seven hundred and fifty” shall be substituted Act XvF^f by l be w O rds “ rupees eight hundred and fifty” . 1953.
Amendment o f section 3
of Assam Act X V I of 1953.
3. In the proviso to section 3(ii) of the principal Act, the words “rupees two hundred” shall be sub stituted by the words “rupees two hundred and fifty” .
Amendment 4, Insection 4 of the principal Act, in clause (ii) of iSe<As°am w o r d s “ rupees one hundred and fifty” shall be Act X W o f substituted by the words “ rupees two hundred”. 1958.
