An Act to give PjJect to tlje financl(!l proposals of the Government of Ker ala for the firuznctal year 1986-87.
Preamble.-WHEREAS it' i~ expedient to give effect to the financial proposals of the Government of Kerala for the financial year 1986-87; BE it enacte-d in the Thirty-seventh Year of the · Repubhc of India as follows:-
.. I. Short title and crmmzencement -( 1) This Act may be called the Kerala Finance Act, I 986.

(2) It shall be deemed to have come mto force on the 1st day of April., I 936.
2 Amrndmmt of Act 15 of 1963.-In the Ketala General Sales Tax Act. 1963 (15 of 1963),-
( I) in ~ection 14, after sub-s<'ction- ( l 0), the following sub-section shall be in~erted, namely:-
•" (II) The pre-sen bed authority shall dispose of the applicatiOn for regtstration tecctved under sub-section (1), withm s1x week~ from the date of rece1pt of the applicatiOn."; .
(2) in the First Scheduk,-
(a) in column (4) against Serial Number 31, for the figures "50", the figures "55" shall be substituted;
(b) in column (4) agamst Serial Number 53, for the figute "8", the figurf's "10" shall be substituted,
(c) in column (4) agamst Serial Numbe1 56F, for the figure "4", the figUJ es "I 0" shall be substituted,
(d) m column (4) against Senal Number 57, for the figute "7", the figures "1 0" shall be substituted;
(e) for the entry in column (2) against Serial Number IOOC, the foli

(f) for the entry in column (2) against Serial Number 105A, the lollowing entry shall be substituted, namely:-
"Cuddappah stone and slabs or other similar stones and slabs used m building constructions";
