No. H. 12018/86/2011-LJD, the 5thAugust, 2011. The following Act of the Mizoram Salaries, Allowances of the Minister (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2011, which received the assent of the Governor of Mizoram is hereby published for general information.
The Mizoram Salaries, Allowances of the Minister (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2011. (Act No. 20 of 2011)

AN
ACT
further to amend the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of Minister Act, 1999 (Act No.7 of l999). It is enacted by the Mizoram Legislative Assembly in the Sixty- second year of the Republic of India as follows :-
Short Title and 1. (1) This Act may be called the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of commencement Minister (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2011.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the lst
day of August, 2010. Amendment of 2. In Section 3 of the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of Minister Act, 1999 Section 3 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), for the words "ten thousand"
the words "forty thousand" shall be substituted.
Amendment of 3. Section 4 of the Principal Act shall be substituted as follows, namely :-
Section 4 "There shall be paid to the Chief Minister, Minister and Minister of State a Sumptuary allowance of ten thousand rupees each per mensem".
Amendment of 4. Section 5 of the Principal Act shall be substituted as follows, namely :-
Section 5 "There shall be paid to the Chief Minister family allowances of ten thousand rupees, to the Minister eight thousand rupees and to the Minister of State

- 2 -Ex-339/2011 five thousand rupees per mensem. An Entertainment allowance of rupees ten thousand to the Chief Minister, rupees five thousand to the Minister and rupees three thousand to the Minister of State per mensem".
Amendment of 5. In Section 6 of the Principal Act, for the words "seven thousand rupees", Section 6 the words "ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted. Amendment of 6. In Section 8 of the Principal Act, the words "within India" shall be deleted Section 8 and for the figure and words "Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh)" the figure and words "Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs)" shall be substituted. Amendment of 7. (1) In Para 1 of the Schedule to the Principal Act, the numerical with the Schedule brackets, namely, "(i)" shall be deleted.
(2) In the Para 1 of the Schedule, for the words and figures, namely,
"Rs. 500/-" occurring in the fourth line and "Rs. 400/-" occurring in the fifth line, the words, namely, "one thousand rupees" and "seven hundred fifty rupees" respectively shall be substituted. P. Singthanga,
