NOTIFICATION
No. H. 12018/86/2011-LJD, the 5thAugust, 2011. The following Act of the Mizoram Salaries, Allowances of the Government Chief Whip and the Deputy Government Whip (Third Amendment) Act, 2011, which received the assent of the Governor of Mizoram is hereby published for general information. The Mizoram Salaries, Allowances of the Government Chief Whip and the Deputy Government Chief Whip (Third Amendment) Act, 2011.

AN
ACT
further to amend the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of Government Chief Whip and the Deputy Government Chief Whip, Act, 1999 (Act No.8 of 1999)
It is enacted by the Mizoram Legislative Assembly in the Sixty- second year of the Republic of India as follows :-
Short Title and 1. (1) This Act may be called the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of the commencement Government Chief Whip and the Deputy Government Chief Whip
(Third Amendment) Act, 2011.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st
day of August, 2010. Amendment of 2. In sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of Section 4 the Government Chief Whip and the Deputy Government Chief Whip Act, 1999 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act) for the words "ten thousand" the words "forty thousand" shall be substituted.
Amendment of 3. For Section 5 of the Principal Act, the following shall be substituted, namely, "5. Section 5 There shall be paid to the Deputy Government Chief Whip, a Sumptuary allowance of ten thousand rupees, a Family allowance of five thousand rupees, and an Entertainment allowance of three thousand rupees per mensem".

- 2 -Ex-341/2011 Amendment of 4. In Section 6 of the Principal Act, for the words "seven thousand", the Section 6 words "ten thousand" shall be substituted.
Amendment of 5. (1) In Para 1 of the Schedule to the Principal Act, the alphabet with brackets, Schedule namely, "(a)" shall be deleted.
(2) In the Para 1 of the Schedule, the words and figures, namely,
"Rs. 400/-" and "Rs. 500/-" occurring in the fifth line, the words namely,
"seven hundred fifty rupees" and "one thousand rupees" respectively shall be substituted.
