Preamble further to amend the Dhugpdi University Act;1965. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the DbugihUniversity Act, 1965, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, in the manner herein after appearing;
It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-fourth Year o f the Republic o f India, as fo llow s:-e. i i , ........ . ■

. (1) This Act may be called the D in g rfi University (Amendment) ' Act, 2013.
(2) I t shall have the ft ke extent as the principal Act; (3 ) I t shall come into force at once.

Provided that the employees'of the University who entered service before -1-2-2005 and who have retired or expired before coming into force o f this Act shall be. entitled, to receive pension or family: pension, as the case may be, underthe provisionsofthis '.Act: ' ' U

have entered' service on or after .1-2-2005 shall be covered under the FTevk Pension Scheme introduced by the State Goveriunent.

Insertion o f new section
41A
"University to establish and maintain
teaching and non-teaching staff ratio. ■ (3) Pension under this section shall include Superannuation -- pension and Family- pension only and does not include gratuity."
3. In the principal Act, after section 41; the following new section » 41A shall be inserted, namely:- , " *
41A (1) The University shall establish and maintain the teaching and non-teaching staff ratio at 1:1.5 progressively. In order to establish this teaching and nbn-teaching staff ratio the University shall not appoint any non-teaching employee afresh against sanctioned vacant post and also -shall not initiate for re-employment o f any retired persons upon their retirement ■ ^thptfttidong prior approval ofthe State Government.
(2) The University shall not take any decision or adopt any new rule or scheme which may involve ftirthcr outflow o f fund from tite State Exchequer."
