THE DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1973
An Act further to am end the D ibrugarh U niversity Act, 1965
Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, hereinafter called ^ V I I I the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth
year of the Republic of India as follows:— Short title (j) This Ac t may be called the Dibrugarh medncement'. University (Amendment) Act, 1973.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
Amendment 2. In Section 30 (2) of the principal Act, for the of Section w o r c ] " twenty'' occurring in between the words Assam Act "rupees" and " lakhs" the word " forty" shall be VIII of 1965. substituted.
