Preamble. Whereas it is exp edie nt fu rthe r to amend Assam Act

It is he reb y enacted in the Tw enty- fourt h Year of the Republic of Ind ia as fo llo ws:—
1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Sta te Legis lature Mem bers ' (Removal of Dis- qualification s) (Amendment ) Act, 1973.
(2) It sha ll have the like ex ten t as the Principal Act.
(3) It sha ll come into force atonce.
