It is hereby enacted in the Te nth Year of the Republic of Ind ia as follows;—

(2) I t shall have t he like extent as the princi - pal Act.

g the Board constituted as under sub-section (2) of Sec tion 3 and the ma nner of election and nom ina - tion of the members of th e Board shall be such as may be prescr ibed .

(2) Th e period of thre e years referred to in sub-section (3) of Section 3 an d sub-section (1) of this section shall inc lude an d shall be deem ed always to have included any period which may elapse between the expiry of the said thr ee year s and the da te of the first mee ting of the sub seq uen t B ta rd :

Provided th at such sub sequen t Board sha ll sit within forty-f ive days f rom the day of its constitutio n.

(3) Th e Sta te Governme nt may, by notifica- tion , for sufficient cause to be sta ted therein , dire ct, from tim e to time , th at the term of the Board be extended by such per iod not exceeding one year at a time, as m ay be specified in the noti fica tion , provided tha t t he total period of such ex tension shall n ot exceed two yea rs" .
