In pursuance of directions issued by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Agriculture, New Delhi and in exercise of powers conferred by Section 28(1) read with Section 4(1) and 4(2) (c) of the Goa, Daman & Diu Marine Fishing Regulation Act, 1980 ( No. 3 of 198 1 ) and read with amended Daman & Diu Marine Fishing (Amendment) Regulation 2010 ( No.2 of 2010), the Administrator of Daman & Diu is hereby pleased to revise the Uniform color coding of Fishing Vessels ( registered ) in the U. T. of Daman & Diu .
All the Fishing vessel i.e. Non-Mechanised, Mechanised withlwithout cabin shall have uniform color coding, Display of Registration No. and Name and Hoisting of Flag as following with immediate effect :-
2. On Fishing Vessel (a) Upper side wooden Deck & Plank
(b) Lower Wooden Plank
2. On Fishing Vessel Cabin (a) Upper Top with Roof (b) Lower slanting Roof- (c) Support/wooden stand
i) Upper Half ii) Lower Half
3. On Vessels Mast (a) Tip of all Masts
4. On Wooden Hood & Anchor Polls (All)
5. Display of Registration Number &Name: (a) Back ground (b) Font size & color
(c) Language (d) Position
6. Hoisting of Flag
: Ink Blue color. : Lemon Yellow color
