Preamble W hereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Amusements and Betting Tax Act, 1939, here- Assam Act inafter called the piincipal Act, in the manner here- inafter appearing ;
I t is hereby enacted in the Nineteenth Yeaj of the Republic-of India as fellows:— ■'

(2) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act.
