Bihar State University Service Commission (Amendment) Act, 2018

ACT
to amend Bihar State University Service Commission Act 2017 (Bihar Act 21, 2017)
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the Sixty ninth year of the Republic of India as follows—
1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Bihar State University Service Commission (Amendment) Act, 2018.
(2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.
(3) It shall come in force with effect from the date, which the State Government , by notification, may fix.

2. Amendment in section-11 of Bihar Act 21, 2017.—The following proviso shall be added after sub section (1) of Section- 11 of the Bihar Act 21, 2017.
"Provided that at present on going appointment process to the post of Assistant Professors on the basis of the advertisements already published by the Bihar Public Service Commission shall be completed only by the Bihar Public Service Commission. ".
