(5) If for exercising the powers under the preceding sub -section any difficulty arises in giving effect to any one or more of the Statute3, Ordinances and Regulations fra- med thereunder, the State Government may in consultation with the Chancellor by order remove such difficulty as may appear t o be necessary fo r the purpose of exercising those powers.
Saving. 14. 42. B. Notwithstanding anything con- tained in this Act any decision given, order m ade, anyth ing done, any action taken or any proce- edings commenced under any of t he provisions of the Act or Rules, Statu'tes, Regulations in force immediately before the commencement of this Act, shall, in so far as 'they are not inconsis- tent with the provision of this Act, continue in force and shall be deemed to h ave been given, made, done or t aken, commenced under the provisions of this Act.

tion. 15. 42. C. If any dispute arises as to the interpreta'tion of any of the provis10ns of this Act, the interpretation given by the St&te Government shall be final and binding to all concerned."

It is hereby enacted in the Twenty Sixth Year ~ of the Republic of India, as follows:-
Short title, 1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Khadi ~~~e:c~~ and Village Industries Board (Amendment) Act, 1975. ment.

(2) It shall have the like extent as the princi- pal Act.

"Dissolution 10 H-(1) The State Government may, by not.ifica- r{ t~e tion in the official gazette, direct that the Board shall oar · be dissolved from the date specified in the notifica- tion; and thereupon the Board shall be deemed to be dissolved accordingly and the Executive Committee, Standing Finance Committee and any other Com- mittee appointed under this Act, shall cease to func- tion.
(2) On and from the said date -
(a) All properties and funds, which im- mediately before the said date were in the possession of the Board for the pur- poses of this Act shall vest in the State Government ;
(b) all members, shall vacate office as mem- bers of the Board; and
(c) all rights, obligations and liabilities (in- cluding any liabilities under any contract) of the Board shal1 become the rights, obligations and liabilities of the State Government.''
