Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Deputy Speaker’s Salaries and Allowances Act, 1958, hereinafter called the principal Act, in j958. ° the manner hereinafter appearing ;
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows :—

Explanation.— 1. For the purpose of this section the expression ‘the members of his family’ shall mean and include such members as may be prescribed by rules.
2. Those who are en titled to free m edical attendance and trea tm en t m ay take the same from any registered physician of th e ir choise— Allopathic, Ayurvedic, U nani or Homoeopathic and m edical bills on prescrip tion of such physi cians are re-im bursab le”.
