Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Amusements and Betting Tax Act, 1939, here nafter referred to as 'he principal Act in the manner hereinafter appear! g ;

It is hereby enacted io the Foty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows ; -

Short title , rxtc t and Commence- ment.

1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Amusements and Betting Tax (Amendment) Act, 1995.

(2) It shall have the principal Act.

"(b) In the case of cinematograph exhibiiion, where the payment of admission is—

Provided that the maximum ceiling of such tickets including the tax shall ro t exceed rupees twenty in case of admission to c nemitograph exhibition."
