Meghalaya act 007 of 1989 : The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly (Fixation Of Quorum) Act, Act No.7 of 1989

Section 1.Short title, extent and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly (Fixation of Quorum) Act, 1989.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

Section 2.Fixation of quorum for meetings of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly

With effect from the commencement of this Act the quorum to constitute a meeting of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly shall be one-tenth of the total number of the member thereof.
