to amend the Nagaland Ministers’ Salaries and Allowances Act, 1964.
Preamble It is expedient to amend the Nagaland Ministers Salaries and Allowances Act, 1964 (Nagaland Act, No. 4 of 1964), hereinafter called the Principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Twentieth year of the Republic of India as follows 1. Short title and commencement. (1) This Act may be called Nagaland Ministers’ Salaries and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1969. (2) It shall come into force with effect from 1st September, 1969. 2. Amendment of Section 4 of the Nagaland Act, No. 4 of 1964. In sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Principal Act, the words “Parliamentary Secretary shall be entitled to a conveyance allowance of rupees one hundred and fifty per mensem” appearing in third line after word “every” shall be substituted by the following namely: “Parliamentary Secretary shall be entitled to a conveyance allownace of rupees two hundred only per mensem”.
