An Act to repeal the Kerala Maternity Benefit Act, 1957 Preamble.- WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the Kerala Maternity Benefit Act, 1957;

BE it enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

I. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Kerala Maternity Benefit (Repeal) Act, 1970.

(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

2. Repeal of Act 19 of 1957.- The Kerala Maternity Benefit Act, 1957 (19 of 1957) is hereby repealed.
