An Act to further amend the Uttaranchal State Commission for Other Backward Classes Act, 2003
Be it enacted in the Fifty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
* As passed by the Uttaranchal Legislative Assembly and assented to by the Governor on 27-01-2005.
1. Short title, Extent and Commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Uttaranchal State Commission for Other Backward Classes (Second Amendment) Act, 2005.
(2) it extends to the whole of Uttaranchal.
(3) It shall come into force with immediate effect.
2. Amendment of Sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Principal Act.- Sub-section (3) of section 3 of the principal Act shall be amended as follows:-
The words ‘eleven members’ shall be substituted in place of the words ‘two members’.
