An Act further to amend The Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh State University Act, 1973) (Adaptation and Modification Order, 2001)
Be it enacted by the State Assembly of Uttaranchal in the Fifty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
* As passed by the Uttaranchal Legislative Assembly and assented to by the Governor on 20-04-2005.
1. Short title & Commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh State University Act, 1973) (Adaptation and Modification Order, 2001) (Third Amendment) Act, 2005.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
2. Amendment of Principal Act.- In The Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh State University Act, 1973) (Adaptation and Modification Order, 2001), herein after referred to as Principal Act, wherever the expression "Sampurnanand Sanskrit University" occurs, the words "Uttaranchal Sanskrit University, Hardwar" shall be substituted.
