AN ACT And to further amend the Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Excise Act, 1910) (Amendment) Act, 2002 in its applicability to State of Uttaranchal

1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Excise Act, 1910) (Second Amendment) Act, 2003.
(2) It extends to the whole of Uttaranchal State.
(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the June 24, 2003.
2. Deletion of Certain part of sub-section (2) of section 60 of the Act No. 16 of 2002.- Deletion of following part of sub-section (2) of Section 60 of the Principal Act:-
"or imports, exports, transports or possesses any charas"
